Here’s a rule all “Master Technicians” need to learn before they list their mutts on CL.
You sure those aren’t just AC units running their heat pump? I was confused at first when I moved to a warmer climate and heard AC units running all over the neighborhood in the winter.
You can’t import a car, that would otherwise be illegal, that was ever a street legal car, to turn into a race-car. There’s a provision in the NHTSA regulations saying they have to have been untitled “off-road” vehicles since new to be exempt.

Attorney here, you are wrong.
I’m never buying one, but it would please me greatly if the rest of the Lexus/BMW/Benz crossovers in my neighborhood would trade them in on these. If only to hear its very-nice-for-a-CUV burbling & popping exhaust sounds as it drives by.
Combined with the fact that the poster claims he can’t remember shutting it off or not, and the subsequent fire, lead me to to believe that’s what we’re seeing.
It is funny they have the blacked out tent for hiding it, with the M-logo and “Too many Secrets” printed on it.
Pretty sure he left it running after he hit the deer, from the steam visible in the pics.
Driving on the interstate through the empty Western US= “two full grueling days driving”
