If you listen, you can hear a family member say “You know he can’t drive” right before the “we’re gonna bury him in the damn thing”.
To be fair, that’s literally the way America was founded too...
On my Outback at least, the fog lights throw a much wider, lower beam than either high or low.

For a fairer analogy, it’s more like your car is worth 100's of millions of dollars, and for days in advance you can predict that a storm is going to directly strike that garage.
Yikes.
Interesting. I grew up on Air Force bases, and one thing I remember about the couple of hurricanes we caught was always having to go through them and evacuations without dad (the pilot), the flight crews and planes typically just flew to a safe base to sit it out.
Criminal attorney here.
I don’t know if it counts as I never said it out loud, but for years I accidentally “pronounced” Connolly leather as “Colony” leather whenever I’d read it.
If you lease another car from the same manufacturer, they will waive almost all cosmetic damage. I’ve seen cars with bumpers pushed in at the corners not incur any penalties.

It’s better that they lease a new car with a warranty that can reliably get them to their job. The alternatives for someone without a lot of money to put down are primarily buying an out of warranty car from a buy-here pay-here lot.
Just standard GM fleet, a church could order some if they wanted.
The 3/4 ton Suburban isn’t totally dead, you just have to buy them a few at a time...
I mostly stick to 4 lane divided state highways, with some 2 lane highways. It’s definitely not a speed preference, it’s just a far more enjoyable time to me.

YMMV depending on the route obviously. As long as I avoid driving through Atlanta at rush hour, my drive can be 99% traffic free.
If you can find something that will stop me sweating in a long sleeved shirt & pants (employee standby has a dress code in case they put us in first class...) in August in the deep South, after standing in line, frustrated for an hour, I’ll buy a case of it!
