And what’s the point in them being more energy or water efficient if the machine itself is $1500 more? At that point you’re wasting money to save money. And that doesn’t even factor in the cost of the endless repairs these things need.
This seems to sum up what I’m thinking pretty well. All the features are nice, but ultimately, this isn’t a luxury item, it’s an appliance. I want it to do its basic job with no issues for over a decade, with no maintenance required.
