I revisited it recently. All of the seasons. It’s amazing when you feel the moment this article describes - when they actually start building on it.

People also don’t give the show enough credit for how it changed the face of TV. Shonda Rhimes quietly cast the show with a bunch of black characters and/or female characters who were in positions of power and/or at the top of their field. And she did it without it getting labeled a “black show” and getting ghettoized…
SAME. Japril is forever. Urgh. Especially since they are pushing the Maggie/Jackson relationship so hard when they have no chemistry at all. Now that I think about it, Japril were the last ‘iconic’ couple on the show. Their chemistry was on fire and they had a beautiful story. No one on the show has that anymore.
Amelia’s brain tumor is one of my favorite recent developments. I couldn’t stand the character before but now that she’s stable I’ve been enjoying her. The hilarious / sad thing about this is that I’ve had a close friend who had a brain tumor, had it removed, and had such a complete personality shift after the…

Little moments like that work really well in this show, and the shared experience of time passing and history being made between the audience and the characters is extremely effective. It’s the primary…

If you look at UA’s rules for pass riders (full disclosure: I am a UA pass rider), cargo shorts are permitted (khaki and bermuda shorts are OK for men and women), while lycra/spandex/form fitting leggings are expressly prohibited. So the gate agent didn’t make an arbitrary call to police one and not the other. It’s…
Since the issue for United is the employee dress code for people flying on employee passes, I wouldn’t be mad if they’d made the dad change too. They have every right to require that people who work for them meet a certain level of formality when redeeming a benefit.
Leggings ban?
Reading the entire story is hard, fake news, real news no news why should this place hold themselves to a higher standards and thinks about flushing out the entire story :)
I’m with you on this one. There is a time and place for outrage and this is not it.
It has been reported that the passenger was flying on a pass, and was therefore required to adhere to a more formal dress code.
