One of the earliest movies that I saw Sandra Bullock in (and started my crush) was Love Potion No. Nine. I haven’t watched it in ages, but I used to love it. No idea how well it holds up.

I saw the Rob Zombie Halloween remake in theaters, and there was a kid sitting a few seats down, brought by his parents, and clearly extremely upset by the content he was seeing.

When the first Deadpool came out there was an idiot couple sitting two rows in front of me with their 5 year old son there to see a superhero movie.

I can’t believe they didn’t include anything from the original Poltergeist. I would have nominated the clown attack scene. Or at least the guy ripping his own face apart in the mirror. :)

After ruining Jack Ryan and Jim Kirk, I was worried Pine would ruin Steve Trevor, too. But I actually like his Steve Trevor.

I’m so torn. Part of me wants to see the new Bill & Ted in the theater but most of me knows that’s a ridiculous risk to take. :(

We started rewatching Scrubs when the Zach and Donald podcast started. I was so sad to hear about his passing. Too young.

I can’t believe no one else commented on that. I’m just reading the this article for the first time and that immediately jumped out at me, too. :)

Especially when Voyager established that at one point the Federation was using obsolete EMHs as slave labor. I remember a bunch of holo-Picardos digging in a mine or something (which seems like overkill...why not just use non-sentient digging robots).

And if this sort of thing doesn’t interest you—if you couldn’t care less about the lore, and just want to see Jean-Luc Picard back on your TV screen again—you’re in for a fine time as well.

The really interesting thing is that the sheriff is a much more sympathetic character in the original novel, and despite all that being taken out in the script, Dennehy put a lot back in purely by performance.

Oh, man. I’ve had F/X and F/X 2 queued up to watch for a few weeks now. Looks like I’ll be watching the first one again tonight.

Love this movie. :)

He’ll always be his character from Scream to me. :)

I need to watch The Arrival again. I really liked it at the time but haven’t seen it in decades. My copy of it is a taped off cable VHS tape.
