Now playing

...but I think over time critics and fans will poke holes into it.

Venom may have made decent money, but it was a terrible movie (in my opinion). If those are the people who will be shepharding a new Spider-Man movie, then Feige’s hard work may end up nothing more than a turd in the wind.

I actually like RotM, too. And my personal opinion is that it’s chase scene was better than the Matrix: Reloaded chase scene from the same year.

Looks like Judgement Day was pushed off but will still happen and now someone else will be the inevitable resistance leader that a Terminator is sent back in time to kill instead of Jon Connor. And an enhanced human is sent back to protect her (or his/her mother) with the help of Sarah Connor and an unknown modified T-

Man, I loved that Dragonslayer movie as a kid. I even had the Marvel (?) comic adaptation. Ah, the days before VCRs. Comic adaptations and novelizations were the next best thing. :)

I’d be happy with new episodes of Liquid Television. Give new up and coming animators a place to show off their work.

The Stark suit is why I still rank MCU Spider-Man movies beneath all three Raimi movies. Well, that and my unabashed love of Sam Raimi movies.

You know, I don’t think I ever have. I would have been 12 in 1982, also. I’ll have to track it down and watch it now. :)

lol

Superman 3 has to be canon because that’s when I first fell in love with Annette O’Toole. :)

I had completely forgotten about that. I watched it the one time and that was it. Thanks for the reminder. Maybe I’ll check it out again.

I appreciate John Barrowman’s enthusiasm but when you are playing an immortal character, at some point you need to acknowledge that you have aged and just let it go. :)

Holy cow. I never realized who some of the background bizarros were before. Tamsin Greig? Matt Lucas?

Oh, I love that Infocom game! The lengths you had to go through to get the Babel fish.

Sorta like how Arthur C. Clarke’s 2001 is the novelization of the movie script he wrote with Kubrick, and not an original work.

I admit, I never watched the show. But according to Wikipedia...

It’s kind of kiddified, where the first one was edgier (for a lack of a better term).

It wouldn’t be the 80s without giant shoulder pads. :)
