I think the Guardians of the Galaxy 2 Blu-Ray had a bonus feature where they mentioned that the de-aged Kurt Russell was actually more practical than you would expect. I’ll have to go back and rewatch it to check.
Here is a similar article...

They could have just had Carol Danvers crash through the roof of McDowell’s. Then Nick Fury could bust in and say...

Access for people who can’t always afford, or live in towns without, theater.

I’m not familiar with the source material so I was fine with it. I feel it’s definitely the weakest of the three, but some of that may also stem from the fact that I don’t think some of the newer actors are very good actors. But I freely admit that I can find something to enjoy in every X-Men movie, up to and

this is probably a scenario you fascinated about”

Ugh. I’m only halfway through this episode and it is painful to watch. Nora is annoying, Sherloque is annoying. Can’t we just have a normal Wells again? The only things I have liked so far are the Green Bandit with his solar powered gun and sunburn and Ralph. It is taking all my effort to not zone out with my iPad

And before optical discs were mainstream, 1983's Brainstorm used shiny, optical tape to store a person’s memories and sensory inputs. :) Another classic movie I haven’t seen in years.

For context, my copy of this movie is on VHS. :D

I haven’t seen that in years. I really do love it. One of my many “I <3 Angela Bassett” movies.

I used to love The Flash. I haven’t seen a single episode this season. I haven’t even gotten around to watching the Elseworlds crossover.

Ew, dude.

But will there be an easter egg setting up a future Isis movie? I loved the Shazam/Isis hour when I was a kid. That’s probably why I’m looking forward to this movie so much. It also could have a funny Greatest American Hero vibe with Billy learning how to use his powers. :)

Now playing

Like that time Let’s Get It Started was a big hit back in 1986. :)

I’m guessing this episode played very differently to people viewing it back in 2013, as opposed to me watching it for the first time in 2019 in Trump’s America. Brooker is freaking Nostradamus

Holy crap, that Williams score still gives me chills. It was so amazing. I’m also a defender of this movie. I was 8 when the first Christopher Reeve movie came out and loved it. So this movie hit me in the feels. And I though Routh was great, too.

It’s like a Kryptonian glaucoma test. ;)

He’s not doing that voice so that people won’t recognize him as Bruce Wayne. He’s doing that voice so that people won’t recognize him as a human being.

Am I alone in remembering “the voice” as being modulated and amplified by some technology in the Batsuit? Did I dream that up?

...and so we got Elektra. The movie isn’t nearly as bad as its reputation, and it’s sure as hell better than Daredevil.

Personally, I rank SM3 ahead of Homecoming, but just barely. I’m not a fan of the suit being Stark tech. And I really like THC as Sandman. So they are neck and neck for 3rd place with SM3 just edging it out in my opinion.
