I’m guessing this episode played very differently to people viewing it back in 2013, as opposed to me watching it for the first time in 2019 in Trump’s America. Brooker is freaking Nostradamus 

Holy crap, that Williams score still gives me chills. It was so amazing. I’m also a defender of this movie. I was 8 when the first Christopher Reeve movie came out and loved it. So this movie hit me in the feels. And I though Routh was great, too. 

It’s like a Kryptonian glaucoma test. ;)

He’s not doing that voice so that people won’t recognize him as Bruce Wayne. He’s doing that voice so that people won’t recognize him as a human being.

Am I alone in remembering “the voice” as being modulated and amplified by some technology in the Batsuit? Did I dream that up?

...and so we got Elektra. The movie isn’t nearly as bad as its reputation, and it’s sure as hell better than Daredevil.

Personally, I rank SM3 ahead of Homecoming, but just barely. I’m not a fan of the suit being Stark tech. And I really like THC as Sandman. So they are neck and neck for 3rd place with SM3 just edging it out in my opinion.

I just watched this ep for the first time. The way the map was so oddly left there the first thing I thought of was “a smart bad guy would use the map as a non-conductor stuck between two electrical contacts on an IED so when the idiot from Team Arrow snatches it they blow themselves up.”

I loved King of the Hill.
