I don't watch Game of Thrones either. I recognized him as Kemp from Being Human. :)

I’m a little late to the conversation because I was so unimpressed with the season as a whole. I finally got around to watching Heaven Sent and Hell Bent this week. I liked that Rose, Martha, and Donna all seemed to be smart and capable and over time with the Doctor got even smarter and more capable.

I wasn’t a fan of the Doctor gunning down the General (?) like it was no big thing, but I figured it was done just so Moffatt could give another example of a Time Lord gender-flipping regeneration further laying the groundwork for the inevitable female Doctor.

Why does that one Twitter photo show a 350-deep line at the TSA Precheck line?? I thought the whole point of the TSA Precheck was that they breeze you through? This system is broken. They need to end the BS that makes Amtrak trains wait hours for freight trains and turn that into a viable alternative.

Have Thor get angry and accidentally turn Jane into a Coke machine. Problem solved.

RIP Shephard Book

I think it also worked in the playing with tropes sense, because Joss had been telegraphing the trope that Hawkeye would die (the only thing missing was him saying, “I’ve only got two weeks left until retirement”) and then he killed Quicksilver instead and had him say the “Didn’t see that coming” which then took on

I just posted that, too. Before seeing your comment. :)

One of my favorite “blink and you’ll miss it” jokes from Batman Forever is Robin saying “Holy rusted metal, Batman!” :)

Real Genius and Top Secret! are two of my all-time favorite movies. I have been a fan of Val Kilmer’s forever. And I do like Batman Forever, too. Did you ever see Val Kilmer’s appearance on the show Life’s Too Short?

I thought Zemo only sounded German when he was pretending to be the German who rented the room and maybe when he was pretending to be the Austrian(?) doctor.

That’s my basic philosophy, too. I usually just roll with a fun movie and don’t try to find fault with it. I have a friend who I’m convinced ruins movies for himself because he’s determined to prove he’s smarter than the movie or the writers or whatever.

I just saw it today for the first time, and while I really enjoyed it I don’t know if I think it’s “the BEST MCU film” like I’ve seen some people say. I think I still ilike CA 1 and CA 2 more. It was a lot of fun, though.

:) I hope Steve doesn’t find out. He’ll feel like a chump. “They injected me! Zapped me with Vita-rays, whatever those are! You just drank a smoothie?!?”

Just saw the movie. I don’t know much about the Black Panther character. Is he supposed to have super strength or something? I assumed he would be just a highly trained and athletic person with a special suit, but he seemed to be stronger than a normal person and able to survive drops from high places. Is he supposed

I loved seeing Dean Pelton from Greendale Community College asking Tony Stark for money. :)

Was the audio of Herb from Brother, Can You Spare Two Dimes someone doing a bad Danny DeVito impression? It didn’t sound like the actual Danny DeVito audio from the show?

I know this article is about rebooting things that have already been made, but before they do a remake of I, Robot I really want someone to do a good version of Caves of Steel and the other Robot Novels. I love those books so much. Originally I wanted a good movie version, but they are doing such great things on TV

Yeah, that was my problem with that scene. Especially since she had been shown to actually have a shield that would arguably have been better for blocking a giant beam of heat vision. I guess they couldn’t make a shield out of the same material as the bracelets.

I’m actually one of the few people who rather enjoyed this movie and didn’t get all the hate on it. But this is actually a scene that I thought was a little odd. I didn’t quite buy into her using her bracelets to stop what looked like a four foot diameter beam of heat vision. Wouldn’t her shield have been a more
