No kidding. They at least could have had the damn thing roped off or something. How many absent minded Ministry staff members walked through that thing to their death while engrossed in some interdepartmental scroll or something.

That's a bummer. I was really intrigued by the concept. Now, do I ignore the spoiler warning and read the full article? Or do I still hold off and try watching it anyway. :(

I wonder if all of my old 1977-1979 Star Wars cards are still up in a box in my parents' attic or if they were tossed. I'll have to go on a "dig" and find out.

This is a n0-win discussion because if you're against it, obviously it's because you're sexist. But if it had to happen, I would rather they have used the rationale that because the Doctor is the "last of the Time Lords" it was some biological anomally to preserve the species or something, as opposed to "oh, it was

I love the HISHE cartoons. They always crack me up. My favorite is probably the one for Lord of the Rings.

Demonstrable proof that cats are better than dogs...I don't have to leave the bar early to go home and let my cat out to pee. <drops mic>

lol. I understand. I know nothing about Captain Marvel the character so I have no point of reference. I thought maybe you did. I'm ok with Charlize Theron as an actress, but she isn't who pops into my head when I think action, superhero movie. Odd since she has done Aeon Flux and Hancock. In the same way I still don't

How old should Captain Marvel be? I'm just saying, Chloë Grace Moretz will be 20 in 2017 when they will presumably be filming.

Now playing

I wish Kinja had an "expand all" option so I could easily search to see if this has already been posted. Oh well.

Wow. You really hated the final episode, huh? :)

See, that's it. I feel that "but the ending" keeps it from beloved status. When something is truly beloved, there is no "but."

I think the Galactica '80 concept was a direct result of how expensive the original Battlestar Galactica was. Dump the costly planets and set it on Earth.

"...plus a whole bunch of CGI that gets repurposed in later shows..."

If you have a time machine why limit yourself to sex with just one version of your younger self. Pick up two and have yourself a ménage à moi.

I always loved the original Buffy movie, so the night the TV show was premiering I was planted in front of my TV ready to finally have more Buffy. And while I still love the movie for what it was, the TV show was so much better. And Prophecy Girl always seemed to me to be Joss Whedon finally getting to do his version

that's one of the main reasons why I love Community. It seems to have the same surreal style of comedy that IT Crowd has. Having two Community people involved in this gives me a little bit oh hope that it won't suck outright.

I guess I should have scanned through the comments before posting my post. :)

Wait a minute...

I always liked him, too. He was kind of a proto-Wesley. :) And I still remember how blown away I was (no pun intended) by the end of Earthshock. The silent closing credits over the broken star had me stunned as I watched it late on a Sunday night in Chicago.

I don't think 6 is the best season, but I don't think it's the worst season either. I'd probably rank season 7 as my personal least favorite. I love season 4 with Adam and the Initiative and that seems to get hated on quite a bit, too, though.
