If the writer’s goal was to make Mack into a sanctimonious douchebag then I’d say mission accomplished. 

Is it wrong that I’d actually say Season 1 might be better than this season at this point? I mean that certainly had its problems (and maybe its the benefit of hindsight and time) but this season has been pretty damn frustrating a lot of the time.

I’d watch a sixth season but honestly I would rather have another season of Agent Carter.

I hate that they’re framing Elena as some sort of monster when they’re a government agency who have likely killed lots of people.

I adore Daisy, but she needs to be introduced to an entire auditorium so she has options to take a seat.

To me, it reads that the documentary wanted to paint her as something she wasn’t. The filmmakers sound like they want to put her up for radical sainthood, and that would have worked better if she were a radical.

Ginsburg has done a lot of good stuff on the Court, and a lot of bad stuff (she’s written multiple decisions screwing over Native American tribes, even though neither the law nor the politics actually compelled…

I don’t think that’s quite the right analysis though, because except for the Warren Court post-Lochner SCOTUS has been a pretty firmly right-wing institution in most areas of law (civil rights, civil liberties, criminal defense, federalism, etc.). None. Slavish and bizarre adulation of centrists in celebration of our broken system gets us no where. To help the most vulnerablein society, you need real change from people who are actual progressives.
