He killed Jon Arryn and had Lysa tell her that the Lannisters did it, thus starting the War of the Five Kings, leading to Ned, Robb, and Cat’s executions as well as Sansa’s rape, Arya’s abandonment, and Rickon’s death (in the show). That’s a pretty big betrayal of someone you supposedly love.

Betraying her husband and getting him executed is a pretty big betrayal. Also, he helped set up the Red Wedding, resulting in the death of Cat and her oldest son. And he ‘saved’ Sansa from situations he’s directly and deliberately responsible for putting her in.

He convinced Tywin to forge an alliance with Roose Bolton and the Frays. That’s how he betrayed Cat.

I don’t think so. I believe Sansa and Arya were actully fighting, up until when Baelish told Sansa to think the worst of everyone. That spurred her to think the worst of him, and realize he was manipulating her (again). Although, again, still dumb because OBVIOUSLY he was manipulating her...

God, that whole plot line was so contrived. WHAT THE FVCK WAS THE POINT OF THE ARYA vs SANSA SCENE FROM LAST WEEK? Why did they have a fight? Was Littlefinger ALWAYS watching them? I hate it so so so so so so so much.
