For 10k! No fucking way. I've been living with these things for 22, and counting, years. People beat the shit out of them, and maintenance depends on the mechanic you get that day. It's like a box of chocolates...

I believe this is the video before it was pulled down:

Yeah the only thing I don't have is heated seats. I'll live though.

Few things people need to keep in their minds

And over the last year, I've indulged every single person with a big smile. The guy who wants to know what it costs gets to sit inside. The guy who asks if I want to trade gets to see the engine up close. Kids get rides, parent permitting. And if anyone wants to take a picture with it, I grab their camera and invite

That would be nice if he actually had his hands raised

I just don't get why anyone would pay six figures for a street legal car. Ever. For any reason.

If the guy truly had a gun, the driver wouldn't have had a chance. That lethargic BRZ acceleration would've been like shooting a stationary target.

From the linked article: "If you're brave, you can even use a voice-transcription app to post a tweet or Facebookupdate." - seriously? WTF, Slate? Driving isn't an important use of your time, so why not do something really important like post your thoughts to social media! This simply makes driving worse...people

You simply cannot placidly follow a car without falling into a hypnotic trance. It's precisely in this trance that you start thinking "hey maybe that Slate article is right..." then promptly rear-end/get rear-ended and cause a massive traffic delay.

So Slate basically publishes an article encouraging distracted driving under the guise of a "lifehack"? I think I will join you in that horse punching.

If piloting a vehicle in order to reach your destination doesn't feel like a productive use of your time already you should probably rethink what you're doing with your life, just saying.

And research suggests that multitasking can make your commute feel more worthwhile.

Wes and I are going to host a big ol' conversation re: Frontier vs Tacoma... basically, the Taco has a more aggressive low-range ratio and better angles thanks to its lift. In every other respect, I reckon the Frontier is a superior truck.

Disclaimer: I own a 2011 Frontier 4x4 and love it for the reasons you state.

Until the colorado comes with a manual matched with the V6 and off-road upgrades like the better suspension, brakes, and drivetrain (more than just trans/engine) then I fail to see how the colorado is better.

Non pro4x are cheaper. Unless you plan on some serious off-roading , you don't really need the pro4x trim. And if you do plan on some serious off-roading and want something capable from the factory, you can't really consider a Colorado.

People believe what they want to believe when they read these articles. The interject there own beliefs into the situation which in turn changes the information presented to fit their own beliefs. This is how peoples commets got from hanging his jacket to burning down the middle east. I agree with you. He probably

That's exactly what I think happened, actually, and this news broadcast is just trying to brew a nice hot cup of controversy.
