a big ol fuck up followed by some decent apologies / basic accountability feels like an honest to God palate cleanser at this point.

Admittedly, I am the whitest of white ladies, but I appreciate that the model made a sincere and thoughtful apology.

He specifically mentioned both white women in context of a known holiday for getting fucked up, and his fetish for sleeping with white women.

It’s noteworthy because he goes out of his way to mention St Patrick’s Day, a day known for white people getting even more drunk than usual.

It isn’t that people think they have it coming, it is that they are pissed these Fox News women don’t give a shit about this stuff until it is their own problem.

Asking women to stop their misogyny (which is often a tactic to ingratiate themselves to the oppressors) instead of asking men to stop their misogyny gets it backwards. Women wouldn’t need to be misogynistic if men didn’t hate women. I will defend every woman against gendered attacks because it defends us all.
