Yeah, I think this is basically the answer. And the cachet of driving it goes down as it gets older while the cost per mile goes up, so the value proposition of the owner leaving their driveway craters until and unless it becomes a classic.

I’d say less than the amount as the person who wrote the article. The people writing the emails were minding their own business, while the blogger fired the first shot for no reason other than to incite the response.
