If the issue is that he’s making money on YouTube using something that has their branding on it, then couldn’t automakers shut down literally every show online from Mighty Car Mods to Roadkill (outside of Dodge, obviously) to just about any joker with a car from Craigslist with enough followers to get paid?

Plus that douchebag “our car” comment. Please

Except he’s not deceiving anyone into thinking he is associated with the company whatsoever. The car also has a Chevy logo, how is that any different?

Interesting point, nobread. So ‘Pawn Stars’ is violating coca-cola’s trademark by buying old coke signs and showing them on their TV show?

He bought both DXPs via Copart salvage auctions. One DXP still had all the Domino’s markings. The second one had all markings removed except for the warming oven.

Domino’s Corporate could’ve just stepped in and said “Look, we’ll give you a ton of support and access to the proprietary parts to restore the car, just any video you do of the DXP or even remotely show the DXP in the background cannot be monetized. You’ve got at least another 10yrs to save before the Supra comes to a dealer near you.

Somehow it looks like the BMW Z3. The slashes on the hood remind me of the Z3's sides.

Yes. Too many bumps and warts—the car looks like the instant after it starts turning into a Transformer.

None of that was actual cars right? Totally just 3D rendering? Looked like a bad cut scene from a ten year old version of need for speed.

It looks really ugly.

I may be in the minority here, but the sheer quantity of vents and angles makes for one unbalanced and homely car... my opinion, take it as you will.

How can Doug say this when he’s driving a Land Rover Defender right now, one of the most successful SUVs ever built?

You didn’t write the article but since you’re posting it I’ll reply to you and say bullshit. Chevrolet K5 Blazer existed for 25 years and sold about 1 million units, Ford Bronco existed for 30 years and was also a volume seller, Defender 90 and Wrangler basically launched a brand, etc.
