If you think about it, a lot of our major cities are built beside large bodies of water (oceans, lakes, rivers), since that’s how we used to travel and was the most efficient way to transport goods before railroads, so it makes sense that the liberal areas are near water, since that’s where the cities are.

Dude, yes, I know. I lived abroad for 2 years, I know how it works. But I still wouldn’t be able to vote in the OTHER country’s elections unless I changed citizenship.

I meant that US citizens can still vote in US elections and at least attempt to bring about change. We certainly can’t vote elsewhere. Even if I move to another country that doesn’t give me the right to vote there.
