And done on the back of a slide rule. Think about that, when your cell phone today has more computing power than this whole thing had.

I thought he was reaching for the door opening mechanism in order to make as run for it.
Dude, she’s I-t-a-l-i-a-n! She'll outlook the panties off your plain Jane neighbor and fuck your brains out with a sexy accent. Ok, perhaps in ten years she'll grow a mustache and put on 50 pounds, but hey, shit happens :-)
Nice! But not the same. This would be analogous to marrying the homely girl over the hot sexy one.
Exactly! The only music I would care for in this car is the one coming out those horns out back.
The Black Sea is a big lake. The Russian fleet is there to protect the country’s southern flank. I doubt the U.S. would be stupid enough to put its ships in that lake in case of a real shooting war, when all it has to do is park a few assets outside the Bosphorus and close that exit to the Mediterranean.
That’s exactly why I went with the ‘06 330i over the 335i. The N52 HO is probably the best non-M car NA BMW engine. Now, I drove the F20 335i over two days and loved it. Wouldn’t give up my E90 for it, but it would make a nice second car.
I drive a 6-sp. I have also done laps on an M3 with DCT at the BMW Performance Center. I agree that it is a great combo. IMHO, I’d keep my manual for Sunday country road fun and have the DCT as a daily. Almost all the fun of a stick, but when I hit traffic I can just swing it back to auto and relax a bit. DCT are…
N52 HO version > hp than N20, but a few less torques. I prefer low-end torque myself (the more the better), but the N52 is no slouch in that department either. Tough choice indeed. May be swayed by the perfect balance of the smooth in-line 6 though.
You would not last a day in a European motorway with that attitude. That’s why it sucks to highway drive in this country.
We already have these. They are called “pipelines”, and there ain’t no way in hell you’ll get me to spend 2 seconds trapped inside a pipeline, let alone 2 hours!
With your mouth ‘cause your hands are tied behind your back......
Gunpowder. That’s it. In the modern era it seems their entire ethos is to copy whatever the U.S. does. Or steal it. Yeah, most likely steal everything not nailed down, so to speak. I admire their work ethic, but that’s all they are: hired help.
Don’t exactly recall if this was the one, but a quick look at Google came up with this (only way to know for sure would be to scroll through page upon page of articles here until I could find it). Hope this helps:
Not really. I think it was entitled “How much horsepower is enough” or something to that effect. Sorry!
Here, here! Smooth as a baby’s butt. And in the high output version used in they 330i, at 255hp it’s right in the middle of that 200-300 hp sweetspot readers favored in last week’s Jalopnik horsepower piece.
Probably goes without saying people, but please take good care of your NA in-line sixes. There is no point in owning a FWD BMW (oops, I just threw up a little in my mouth at the thought) and the 3/4 will soon become the entry level for RWD BMWs, and those are all digital and induction-fed. They are by no means bad,…
General Lafayette’s saved our butts in Revolutionary War France? Yes, that France. (P.S. I’m just an American giving credit where credit is due).
