In the UK we already have laws against hate speech, including online. Presumably the US will have followed suit by 2126, and technology will make these laws easily enforced.

The entire article was pretty terrible, honestly. It basically just said “Several years ago, I met the Flash. He was a hero, and now he’s gone.” Apparently Iris never learned you’re supposed to answer Who, What, When, Where, and Why?
Iris staring a news article with “My name is Iris West-Allen” right underneath the byline of her name is unforgivable on so many levels I can’t even. There’s a reason you can’t get a proper journalism job, Iris! “Fine, I’ll just start my own paper? blog? and to hell with the Associated Press style manual!”
The big development here is the reveal of the unsettling threat being awakened by Sarge inside humans: Powerful winged beasts that fly down your throat, and, if left unchecked, can apparently cause a massive explosion.
- There’s something I really liked about Framework!Daisy. Two somethings. Can’t quite put my finger on it though...
This one reminded me of one of my favorite Farscape episodes, “Scratch ‘N Sniff”, from the 3rd season (a time when that show was at the peak of its powers and not afraid to go completely off-format — six episodes earlier they did a super-creepy horror episode called “Eat Me”) and while I agree it’s kind of early in…
That Dany was in danger of crossing a line has been in the books and show for a very long time. There have been cracks in her empathy and humanity throughout going all the way back to her reaction to Viserys’s death. She’s gone for mass murder more than once and usually in horrific ways — Qarth, Vaes Dothrak, various…
Wife: How was the episode?
The negative reaction I’m seeing is that Dany is so innocent and good that this arc makes no sense and came out of nowhere, and I’m a little at a loss there. That the Targaryens are prone to madness is brought up all the time. Dany has done things going all the way back to season 1 that raise questions about her…
I liked it but in the same way as beating a game on Easy, sure you were able to see the story through and close up some of the narrative but it didn’t require a lot of effort
Yep. Plenty of light from those burning peasants.
#Danydidnothing wrong.
Good Heavens. Enjoy ruling your lifeless pile of ashes, Dani.
I might have cried had I know more about cyborg LAdy than “she plays Kadis Kot and “she walked on the beach once”. Her whole puirpüose in that show was to be kicked out of the airlock to make Michael look tragic.
Can we talk about the girl power on display in this show and this episode in particular?
And another example of why torture doesn’t work.
Nah, leaving her behind to set up the beacon was fine. They had no idea how rough the terrain would be and having her stumble along under a jacket would slow the trip down.
It was basically the awful Seska plot from Voyager (done much better here) crossed with Enemy Mine.
I only suspected she was a double agent when the torture started. I think the clever thing with this aspect of the episode was starting out with them being 10 weeks into their relationship. As an audience member, you’re asked to fill in the gaps. Once done, you’re in gap-filling mode the whole episode, and basically…
I’m one of those people who saw it coming that Tyler was Teleya in disguise. I didn’t IMDb it either. Tyler just seemed too perfect for Ed, and in thinking about what Ed and Gordon did last season in “The Krill” I figured they were going to get some payback from the Krill coming their way. Using their same trick…
