Ok, now that I’ve read a review, you make some fair points.
But emotionally I can’t help but maintain that this was an absolutely outstanding episode with phenomenal casting, and my favourite song of 2007 to boot.

I can’t explain why, but for some reason I actually found the slight oddness of it to be a positive addition. It seemed in keeping with the portrayal as a whole. Dunno.
