If it makes you feel any better, I thought it was John DiMaggio. Obviously I had not seen the cast list. Not that bad of a guess; after all they’re both prominent voice actors.

While I do see your point, it is important to remember that a lot of these people were drafted, or had enlistments of short duration summarily extended to war’s end. There is a distinction to be made between people coerced to fight for an unjust cause and the leaders of that cause.
Thanks for the article. And cheer up: at least you don’t root for the St Louis Browns.
I’m impressed that you managed to get through the whole article w/o mentioning his work with the Phillies. Which was considerable.
One of the things I miss most on the interwebs are Bob Cook’s stories about White Sox fandom. They were part of his “Kick Out the Sports” column for Flak magazine around 2005, which are apparently no longer accessible. But his use of William Ligue (and William Ligue, Jr.!) as a story accoutremont would invariably set…
I gotta say, this was a work of art. The time and commitment you put to such good effect. Well done and thanks.
I was fortunate to see the Epic in Miami between the Chargers and Dolphins live on TV way back in ‘82. It was the most entertaining game I ever saw, and the best expression of how beautiful football can be one could imagine. Saturday night’s game was almost the mirror image of that game — and it was nearly as…
Still, that whole “termites destroying the trees” thing throws me more than even the leeches. I guess no one remembers Agent Orange anymore. Does anyone know how long before dioxin loses it’s cancer causing properties?
May have been posted (no, I did not look), so just in case:
Since the Sixers owner is buying Crystal Palace I should be extra irritated. Not that punching a beautiful animal is likely to ever get my support.
A written attack on people precisely like me. Kind of liked it.
Never in the military, but I always thought the point of a littoral ship was to keep it off the high seas. If you can't transport it easily to shallow waters, what good is it?
Did the announcer say "Jar Jar Binks"?
To paraphrase James Carville, the Alabama part of Pennsylvania hates Philadelphia far more than they hate Pittsburgh.
Would have been nice if this had been done by county. I'd like to see how far west the Flyers would extend in Pennsylvania. (Yes, I know the rest of the commonwealth hates Philadelphia and its suburbs, but still . . .)
Probably has been said, but if the USMNT can get out of the group, they'd get someone from Group H in the Round of 16. And they wouldn't have to deal with the first four groups until the semifinals.
Ever hear of the Auld Alliance? Maybe that explains it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Auld_Alli…
For what it's worth, the "Rogues Gallery" music collections that Verbinski and Depp "executive produced" (whatever that means) are quite good. So that's something else to their credit.
That's odd. I was pretty sure I remembered him. Oh well, my mistake then.
Any chance you could bring A J Daulerio back to talk about Ziegler? I'm pretty sure they were in the same high school at the same time (although Ziegler was a few years ahead of him). Go Firebirds (excepting Ziegler, of course).
