What about the “Deaf Person Area” signs? Is it an area that only deaf people can visit? Is it considered trespassing if I drive through these areas? Is it a jail-able offense?

I had one week of PTO when my daughter was born. I was (am) going to school as well and working plenty of over time. It’s not hard to remember that the most precious thing in the world to you is in the back seat.

The type of idiot who would leave their child in a hot car is the type of idiot who cannot operate a clutch because it’s too complicated for them.

Not if done right... Obviously the world isn’t perfect and our government will ruin everything but in theory it could work in a way that trucks wouldn’t pay more in taxes then they do now.

Remove fuel tax and put a mileage tax based on vehicle weight. Not weight groupings, actual vehicle weight that it left the factory. Make it part of the vehicle sticker when the vehicle is sold - “This vehicle costs $.05 a mile in taxes.” would be pretty easy to figure out.

It would also tax hybrids and electrics…

I mean, burning plastic straws would be pretty bad for the environment...

I really wish it was a short term but at this rate he will probably go the full 8 years.
