Right? But who will think about the IP's feelings?!

I don't get people who think he should be grateful. He was hired to do a job, he did it (well according to most), and that's it. Workers don't owe gratitude to their bosses, nor should worker tiptoe around bosses' feelings. You can joke about your work, be derisive about your work, etc. You don't owe anyone

Yeah, and Tony Stark in the comics (prior to the MCU version) was also a massively unlikeable arrogant douchebag of a dick and a drunk.

Leeta and Grand Nagus Rom !!!!!!!!!!!!

See, I think this concept can still work while still keeping it friendly.

Really excited to see where they go with this!

You know what?

No kidding. I’ve been so busy I”m like “jeez, you got an early sneak peek and couldn’t wait? At least wait until it’s OUT!” And then I glanced at the computer clock to figure out how much longer I have to wait . . . and damn, it’s already July 28.

Fuckin’ dieters trying their best to ruin a good thing.  Leave my damn diabetes medicine alone.

You shut your rare-earth, transition metal mouth, Yttrium. AoS was fun, and several of us really liked it!

Rachel Brosnahan as Lois?! I Can see that.

Where the hell is Romancing the Stone (and its sequel)? As far as Indy imitators go, it’s not only the first out of the gate, but it was also very influential in its own right. Half the adventure movies on this list steals its its romance dynamic.

Some guy who clicks his mouse 12 times in Adobe thinks generative AI is a dangrous technology sucking the soul out of human art.

Trukk, not monky.

I want more details on the glasses situation. I have a Quest 2 that I rarely use, mostly because it is annoying to try to squeeze my glasses in there. There is a 3rd-party company that makes lenses for it (I forget who it is right now), like it seems like Zeiss will for Apple, but that’s an extra expense that just

Four words: Mathilda May in Lifeforce...

Gotta disagree with Linda here; if this ends up being closer to Lois & Clark in tone it’ll be a nice change of pace to the usual world-ending stakes of the movies. I’m definitely giving this a go.

He’s got over 15 million subs on YouTube.  Your anecdotal lack of awareness of him does not negate his popularity.

I haven’t read the book as it doesn’t fit my reading preferences, but I do like watching sci-fi stuff. Most of the complaints that I’ve read, about this show, deal with it being a poor adaptation.
Considering I have no frame of reference, is this a good show, if you take the book out of the equation?
