I think the concept of focusing on calling out racist behavior as such, and separating it from obvious racist identity is a way forward.

The indictment was filed (under seal) last Tuesday and this video was apparently from Monday, so the indictment predates the video.  Don’t know if the video going viral helped them find the guy, but he was already indicted by the time it was taken. 

Also, the scene with the teacher was NOT funny. In the real world, that sort of menacing would have had him banned from the school, at the least.
