Since when does anyone on Mad Men drink beer at lunch? Those guys are all about the hard liquor 24/7.

@ploopsy: Wow, I remember an old, old one of these in my house when I was little. I think it was my grandparents'.

Hmm. My acoustic is easy to get out from under my bed, but my bass is buried pretty deep. I might pick one of these up.

Hmm. This technique seems good. I don't have a bottle cutter, but my mom has some tools for scoring glass. I want to try making a bottleneck slide.

I don't have any use for cards now, but back when I was playing with my jazz quartet I always carried some. They go a long way for convincing people that you are more than some kids who like playing instruments.

@Pelayo: The nice thing about a power strip under your desk is that you almost never have to see it.

This is a cool program, but I really don't understand anyone using Firefox (read: anyone surfing the web) would not use Adblock Plus.

I can't even fathom that electric bill...

This definitely seems like a useful tool to accustom yourself to listening to a foreign language.

@tselby: He has an Air and two Cinema Displays. I think that speaks for itself.

@Josh Janusch: This guy has a Macbook Air; I don't think he is too worried about money.

A) If you aren't using the Macbook's screen, why have it open taking up so much space like that?

Tangential to the actual post, that picture is my wallpaper. Beautiful cityscape.

That is really similar to my workspace, down to the Bose headphones hung to the side. I don't have a monitor stand though. While I like the idea of making a nice spot for my docked laptop, I am worried about the height. It would actually probably be healthier, but I am used to lower screens.

Man, that is an awesome use of space. Incredibly efficient.

@distalled: Yeah, I have had my laptop on my desk since I got my external display. It just take sup too much room. I was going to make a vertical stand, but I am giving this a shot first.

That laptop in the drawer thing seems awesome. I am actually tempted to try that, but I am afraid of overheating.

@luckycharms: I don't think it's really a matter of permanently losing anything. Yes, that is unlikely. However, if you are a photographer flying to an assignment, having your luggage "lost" in the sense that it arrives a day or so late could be a huge hassle.
