@QLAB: Where did you hear that? I'd always heard that XBMC would never include DVR functionality as it is isn't intended to be anything other than a nice front-end for mplayer.

OK, I'll bite:

@sumocat: No. I think it's ridiculous to charge paying customers extra to unlock functionality that's built into the product they purchased.

Wow. Am I the only one who thinks paying a dollar to cheat at a single-player game you only paid a dollar for seems a bit outrageous? Also, not I cheat much, but I really hope this doesn't catch on.

@sahilm: I agree. The 24 return policy was the greatest differentiation from the App Store. A lot of apps are crap, but there is no way to know without downloading it. Since most mobile apps don't have a trial version, the only option is to buy it.

@Imfromthenet: What's weird is that I thought I had received that extra space, but when I read this article I just happened to noticed that my account was only reading 2.0 GB. Now it reads 2.75 GB, like it ought to.

@Twanzio: This doesn't have anything to do with Apple dropping efforts to secure iOS from jailbreakers, it's about them dropping support for functionality that allowed developers to easily protect themselves from malicious jailbreakers.

@xsbs: What OS are you using where "Print Screen" *actually* prints the screen? On Windows and most linux distros, it just copies the screen to memory, but it would be fairly trivial for a program to block or interfere with that functionality.

@CamJN: It's really not the same. Just to be able to access the "File" menu in OS X requires me to hit CTRL+fn+F2(a rather awkward keyboard shortcut, btw, but at least it's remappable), then F, then enter.

Speaking of Dropbox and bugs, I just realized that I never got my extra space for filling out of my social networking info. Those bastards!

@alfred1: Yeah, I didn't realize until just now that you don't actually have to use the down key to get a menu to drop.

@alfred1: You must have missed the part where they said that this app is free. It's developer offers a premium version for $15 that has some additional functionality.

@CamJN: Control-Fn-F2 doesn't bring the menu to your cursor. It also doesn't let you float through menus using just your mouse.

@eddiemonster: Try using the arrow keys to navigate the menus!

@Howard Blair: My problem is not so much that the menu is at the top, but that you can't easily access the menus via the keyboard like you can in Windows.

@Galvarez: Where does it say anything about them donating this money post mortem?

@Sithishade: It does come in multiple colors - three different schemes, anyway: green and orange, light blue and brown, or red and beige.

@Mr B Natural: I didn't find it confusing at all. It definitely had the potential to wrack brains, but it opted to hold hands instead. Nolan explained every conceivable aspect of his realization of the dream world and left nothing up to the imagination, which is as ironic as it is disappointing given the potential of

@gthing: I'd like to see them googlify the Market. Ever tried searching for something there?
