@UnMicD: Since when was progressive enhancement not considered best practice?

@deciBels: I love how everyone thinks that everything the dev team has ever released is coated in gold. I seem to remember a major issue involving Push notifications when they first broke 3.0....

@jozen: In reference to your concept - I would much prefer GRiP's solution for notifications to having some massive bar that that spans the width of my screen every time I get an email. It looks like it pushes the whole app down? Talk about intrusive! What if I'm in the middle of reading something or playing a game?

@EaglePuncher: I remember reading something not long ago that before you can use Icy, you have to use Cydia first. I don't know if that's still the case, but it's worth trying if you haven't.

George Hotz, the guy that released blackra1n, has been at least partially responsible for several jailbreaking and unlocking solutions for over two years now. He said he spent about 500 working on the first unlock. He's only 20 years old.

@Ed B: You've got to upgrade first with iTunes, then run the blackra1n executable. It takes about 90 seconds to jailbreak.

@FaRReR: Seeing as how it's been almost two years since the last release of No$GBA, it may not be the best for long. DeSmuMe is open source and actively developed, so it's definitely got potential.

Nice. I was just at Border's this morning and they had a sign up that said "Free Wi-Fi - Coming Soon!"

@Cige: So get an Android and quit crying about it. Apple's policy works just fine for them and for the vast majority of its users.

@appletoad: I'm pissed. I don't know what you do for a living, but you should do it for less pay.

@fenster: Way to make ridiculous generalizations. I've never heard of anyone doing this, ever. The potential for disaster is not only huge, but glaringly obvious.

@jasonchouinard: This is awesome. Thanks so much! Where can I get more of your recipes/cooking advice?

@Dragonis: Sounds a lot like a Monte Cristo, only without the meat!

@eien: Just because you don't see value in notification apps doesn't make them pointless. They are not just cosmetic programs(although they can be used for that). Growl for Windows makes my life so much easier, as it forwards my notifications to my iPhone. As a result, I get my facebook notifications pushed to my

@Springo: I don't understand why people like you feel the need to comment on articles that are "Windows-only". We don't really care that you perceive your OS to be superior to ours. Linux's lack of need for defragmentation hardly makes up for it's lack of developer and manufacturer support, if you ask me. OS X is

@joel.: I just looked at their website a couple of days ago, and it definitely mentioned having built-in anti-malware protection.
