I think he actually said something to the effect that it WAS his first day, which if so; why? Were they waiting for him to finish his undergraduate or something?

A great deal of this inertia strikes me as laziness on the part of the fashion houses.

The real Snoke?

I’m with you on Finn. I would have liked some sort of backstory. I’m assuming this wasn’t his first day as a stormtrooper. Everyone else is fine murdering villagers but he’s not? How come?

There’s a lot more to that little droid than we know.

It seems so obvious that I’m hoping it’s not the case.

Every time my 7yo couldn’t figure out where BB-8 was, she quietly fretted, and it was cute as hell.

Fun fact: That stormtrooper was played by Daniel Craig.

That would make sense, since Christie is supposed to have a bigger role in the following movies. No complaints here if that happens.

I am really hoping that she’s just a random Force-sensitive, mostly because I don’t think the main thread of every movie needs to be a three-generation Skywalker soap opera...

Nope. Phasma is her mother. In a flashback someone is taken away in a troop carrier...makes sense.

Absolutely - for years I had believed that Luke and Leia would be born on Dagobah due to his line “Still... there’s something familiar about this place. I feel like...” and Episode III gave me NOTHING.

Trench run was sweet but that one long sequence of Poe being a bad MF over Maz Kanata’s domain is what caught my eye. Also, the way they used X-Wings over water to give us the classic movie shot of a cavalry on the horizon charging to the rescue (under a cloud of dust, usually), was brilliant.

I am also definitely entertaining that theory: she’s a force baby like Anakin.

It seems pretty obvious that she is Luke’s daughter, but I think it would be really cool if she was just a random person with force power. The way they talked about Luke training a new generation seemed to be in the plural sense, so perhaps she was just a force sensitive youngling who he was training and had to hide

There was no mother. She was conceived by midichlorians and Luke gave birth to her. :D

Nonsense, stuff like this happens all over SoCal!

I think getting pinched by it is a rite of passage. Probably the reason you don’t see them around anymore. That, and gravity hurts, too.

If we assume that it’s not Lando (who Leia probably wouldn’t mourn that much) or Chewie (ditto),

This actually looks like a decent shower head, a pain to clean, but very functional
