You should look at the list on IMDB of projects his production company has made: If Beale Street Could Talk, Moonlight, Selma, 12 Years a Slave, and so on.
Oh my sweetheart, I’m soooooo sorry. It sounds weird, but I’ve heard putting the litter box outside might help them to come home? But I agree on flyers, also check to see if you have a neighborhood group on Facebook and check out Nextdoor.com. Oh I hope your dear, sweet love is home safe before I hit publish!
Do whatever everybody has suggested.
Flyers, lost pet websites, and if you have a local bulletin board type site, post there, too. My step bro lost his dog while drunk and I posted him online. We got him back in a few hours after he’d been gone for 2 days.
If you have Nextdoor, try that as well.
all the others here have covered most things.. but if you have trees and bushes nearby check those.... last time one of mine went missing i found her again coz i heard a pine tree mew
Put out an unwashed shirt of yours with a bowl of water!!!! She’ll smell you and come back, it works.
I’m so sorry. Our kitties are indoors, but twice I’ve had them escape out a loose screen. Spent hours searching, calling their names, shaking kibble. Both times they’d gotten into a crawl space under the building (2 different cats, 2 different buildings). Flyers can be helpful. The last time our girl got into a vent…
Put her litter box outside - the scent will attract her. Also, cats are usually close by. I have an escape artist who was once found in the backyard of the house behind me (with 3 giant dogs!) and once found in our next door neighbor’s bushes after being missing for a day. Also, go out at night when it’s quieter and…
Do flyers now with pic and ask them to check garages, lawn sheds, etc. Put them in neighbors mailboxes, poles and give one to your postal carrier. Get on that neighborhood next door app and put her info out there, ask if any work trucks were nearby that she could have hopped in. The last two indoor/outdoor cats that…
Check with the local vets and animal shelters. Ask neighbors. Place ads. Put up flyers. Check with the local animal control officer, if appropriate for where you live.
Most lost cats are found fairly close to home. It’s likely she’ll come back on her own, but putting out flyers and asking neighbors can’t hurt. Flyers especially are good because most people assume lost cats are just “outdoor cats” and don’t bother checking collars or whatever. Don’t leave her food out, as it will…
Neighborhood groups on facebook are MADE for this sort of thing, if you have one!
Have you put her litter box outside? That is always the first suggestion I see on my cats-are-awesome group whenever someone’s kitty goes on walkabout.
I think you should do flyers ASAP. Is it possible one of your neighbors has taken her in, believing her to be homeless and in need of help? I hope you get her back soon!
