It is true that gasoline will go bad over time. It can take as little as 30 days for fuel to go bad, but that can be prolonged to a few years with fuel stabilizer.

I’m around 6'3.5", and found the same as you. I fit fine! Most of my length is in my legs (36" inseam), and my clutch leg conforms to the door panel when resting on the dead pedal. Still comfortable, but it fits like a wetsuit.
