There’s enough space enclosed under the hood(?) that he could just as easily have a wheel crane that unfolds from within...

So what’s the feasibility of some ridiculously wealthy eccentric going up and capturing this thing just to bring home and show off?  I’m looking at you, Elon.

Watched video, wanted Mochet, researched what it would take to build a replica, decided that would be a good idea, saw pic of rolled Mochet, decided that would be a bad idea.

That was my poorly articulated point.

I hope it comes to Canada.  If it does, it should arrive right around when my Golf gives up the ghost and with that range I can only assume it will fall into the price point I’ll be looking at.

I imagine these small (always British for some reason) sports car makers need to sell cars that stand out to survive. This stands out. If they find out that they’d sell like hotcakes if they were a little more mainstream looking then it looks to me like a new, more complete shell from the firewall forward could be

I like how you read “it’s been in the shop a lot” and immediately (and correctly) assumed VW.  Mine’s a Golf, maybe I should have sprung for a GTI...

Beats me.  I’ve asked nearly every time, even suggested the crappiest thing on their used lot or hinted that a decent oaner might coerce me into buying a new car.  No joy in any case.

It does already exist but as I understand it the shared staff for wildly different program aims is a bit of a bureaucratic mess. There’s a good chance that the Air Force and Space Force can both do their respective jobs better (and cheaper?) if they’re split apart. It also gives each separate budgets so some badly

Funny, I was about to umm-actually that but umm-actually-actuallied myself first when I too remembered it was only theoretically reusable but only flew once.

The first gen Tiguans seemed like winners, the things were everywhere around here. Seems to me like the T-Roc (please change that name though) should do well too.

You guys get loaners?  I have to use some combination of bicycle/bus/vacation days when my car is in the shop, which it was when it was new.  A lot.

Bed battery, current edition:

We need to talk more about that ute.  A lot more.

It’s also worth noting that the people who try and rack up a bazillion points are enormous liabilities to these rewards companies.

Your pic I believe is F-1 engines used on the first stage of the Saturn V moon rocket. The article is about a probably H-1 which was used on a later stage of the Saturn V, an was the main engine on the smaller Earth-orbit Saturn rockets.

This, but with JB Weld because eff it.

Honestly for that Jeep it’s probably worth a shot. Get into the crack with a die grinder and open up a small V, clean the daylights out of everything, block off all the water jacket openings except for the biggest one, apply shop vac to the biggest (the suction can help draw sealants in), then get working the JB Weld

1. Anyone who doesn’t like this car needs to stop taking themselves so seriously and find the joy in life, and

This right here, with the added benefit of giving parts the once over as they’re transferred onto the new frame.  Crap, now I want to buy a rusty Jeep too...
