This is a 4-5000 dollar Mercedes, don't hate the modifications/look but it doesn't add value.  As Rob noted these cars are admired, but they don't bring big bucks on the collector market, an overpriced no dice (as opposed to certain pieces of stuff we see on here that to me are no dice at any price).

If you keep it far from road salt or significant moisture, the rust should be a slow burn. And the interior looks nice. But I wouldn’t want to drive around in (or have to explain) somebody else’s joke. I’d want to restore it, and for that, the price of entry needs to be far less.

It’s not the worst I’ve seen, but yeah - I can get a rusty one up here in NY, no need to go all the way to California for it. ND at that price, but I’m a pretty big fan.

It would appeal to me for so many reasons if it wasn’t such a rusty mess. And that price is far too high for the mess that it’s in. Poor thing.

Do people really creep around a gas station, spying on guys using premium, then lining up behind them even though there’s 3 empty spots?  All for a splash of the upper crust juice?
