Never accused anyone of being lazy or incompetent. Just saying this added an unnecessary task and another source of contaminant risk. And if someone took shortcuts in cleaning the slicer, I’d understand because it’s hardly simple or straight forward. But all that said, adding another trust issue isn’t compelling me to

I work at shoprite, don’t make much more than minimum wage - and I can tell you at least in my store, on my shift those slicers are cleaned so well I’d happily serve my own grandmother anything off them. Not all of us are lazy and incompetent - in fact most of the people I work with bust their rears every shift.

I had a motorized meat slicer in my kitchen for years. Nothing over the top or industrial grade but it was great for more than just slicing meats; good for certain cheeses and veggies too. You could get paper-thin onion slices.

same and I live here (perhaps giving me even more reason)

928'S look something like an AMC Pacer’s milf stepmom. There’s lots to like about them. But the Porsche faithful at the time couldn’t deal with something  that had more in common with their arch enemy -Corvette.. They’ve always languished  in the automotive bargain bin for so long. I can’t see trying to change

Sir Mix A Lot has a Benz, and though he does like big butts (and he cannot lie), I think even he would forgive other brothers if they denied this one.

Too many questions and incongruities with the ad.  Then I saw Florida.  ND.

He’s in the ballpark when it comes to pricing:

Exactly. This should be bought with the expectation that you’ll spend the difference between this and the market value of good condition ones on immediate repairs.

What do you think it involves? I say transmission.

looks like the lovechild of Darth Vader and Anthrax’s Scott Ian.

Well we know it's not plug wires or a tune up, as I think it is required that you list such "just needs..." on your CL ad.

What do you think it involves? I say transmission.

On price alone this is NP. Vipers of this era go for $40K ish

Doesn’t have time or resources to do what, exactly? Make the interior even worse? Extend the nose another 3 feet out? Or fix whatever hideous-but-so-far-unmentioned problem that the low-ish price is hiding?

I currently have 1988 528e, last year. Super Eta, auto. love the car. so mechanically right. Still the ultimate driving machine

He definitely should have posted this on BaT before Clist. Asking price is fair compared to a quick google search. NP tentatively.

ND but would be NP for someone who collects them

I had a 1984 528e with the 5 speed. Baltic Blue metallic. With the eta engine that redlined at 4350. At that time there was nothing in the US worth looking at and Lexus/Infiniti were yet to come. If you wanted a quality mid-sized sedan in the 80's, that and the MB 300 were it. Loved that car.

Well, to continue the DW theme, she’s currently co-starring with David Tennant in Macbeth onstage right now, which is...not going to be any less tragic, come to think of it.
