As a former multiple time owner of XJs I’ll pass on the 2dr. They provide no benefit over a 4dr while only increasing inconvenience.

I’d be more inclined to NP it with a 4.0. That 2.5 in a Wrangler was a mouse motor and I’d be concerned that the price combined with the leisurely performance of the included engine would make me regret my purchase at that price.

counterpoint : If a 185 mph capable, 0 - 60 4.5 sec. $ 20 000 daily drivable serious sports car is not good enough for you because dash/styling then you are most certainly NOT a gear head, you are a poseur

I know that I am in the minority here, but I have a weakness for C4s. This one is in great shape, well-maintained and - most important to me - has enough/high miles that I would not have to worry about over-driving it to depreciation.

C4s use a front hinged accelerator pedal that is being blocked by the steering wheel in the images provided. Well that, or your conspiracy theory that the owner not only talks about the shifts of a 6-speed manual box, but also he swapped in an automatic into a manual-only version of a car and is hoping to hoodwink the

The mileage seems like a good excuse to drive this one.  Let the speculators watch their 1k mile examples sit, take this one and attack the back roads every weekend.

I would rock it, Chevy parts are cheaper than BMW Parts.

Car looks to be very well cared for, but have seen with similar miles for $10k less.  This is no dice at asking price.

I like the car, but I also know I’d get one for less with similar miles. Since I know my maintenance costs are going to be higher, minimizing my cost up front is important. ND.

You’re playing Nice Price or No Dice wrong. The seller is never going to see your vote, so not sure what “punishing” them here is going to do, other than skew the results.

The seller is never going to see your vote,”

Maybe I’m too sensitive, but the super bright rear license plate lamps has me wondering about what else might be on this car that is less than desirable.

If I started an OnlyFans account I’d leave everyone needing to clean their eyeballs instead.

Any day I can make someone have to clean their monitor is a good day.

I like it but not for that price. It is just too much for the mileage.

It is gorgeous. And way too much for the mileage. These are workhorses and this is an aged one.

It’s in great condition but these sell for about 20k with similar miles and condition. This pricing would be better at around 50-65k miles.

“covered wagons and chariots” made me have to clean my monitor.

Agreed, nothing worse than trying to find something and a bunch of ads show up with jitneys and mopeds listed along with every other mode of transportation in there as well.
