The Dynomax catback on my Neon sounded great and was like 300$.. Little known bit, you could purchase the piping separately for 80$ and add a whatever muffler. On my track car my setup was longtube header,2.5" piping and a flowmaster mounted OEM style. DOHC muffler was a good upgrade as well
