Reddit’s reaction to the woman beside him not wanting to kiss a stranger:
This takes “your fave is problematic” to a whole new level.
This was exactly my relationship with Juliette. I intensely disliked her character but somewhere along the line she became one of my faves. Great arc.
I’m partial to this one.
He’s referring to the international version of ‘Netflix and chill’.

“Hi, I’m Mike. It’s short for Micropenis.”
....You didn’t mention it. The Holocene extinction has nothing whatsoever to do with the GOE. The Holocene extinction is what I’ve been talking about the entire time. It’s clear you actually don’t have any idea what’s being discussed. Please refrain from commenting further.
I’d recommend following up Abundance by Peter Diamandis with Collapse by Jared Diamond, or vice-versa. Both books make good arguments but necessarily reach different conclusions.

I’m not sure exactly what you think is being argued.
“This is a discussion about who killed to most species.”
Which doesn’t negate the statement.
Pretty sure the Holocene extinction is common knowledge. Got any counterexamples?
Except that the GOE caused a massive explosion in biodiversity by increasing bioavailable energy supply. We’re doing the exact opposite.
You’ve got to be fucking kidding. You’re kidding, right?
“As a species, humans are pretty awful for the rest of the things living on this planet.”
