Well, there’s one bet I would’ve lost. Neck-stabbings are more of a Florida Man thing.

Honestly, Africa by Toto sounds about right. I personally would have said MJ’s Human Nature... which it turns out was based on a Toto demo.

Society progresses. Get the fuck over it.

Nah. I’m definitely not going to spend energy attacking oblivious models and actors who appear in tone-deaf ads instead of the companies responsible for making them.

Y’all are why nothing gets done. When it’s time to be critical and to say “fuck you, we will not allow this,” you cut and run from the responsibility.

The parasites are in the lining of my brain, moving around.

And hundreds of other models and actors have made similar tone-deaf choices to work in questionable projects, some far worse than Pepsi’s milquetoast cooption of resistance here, without facing sustained personal backlash. If this were any other model in the world, the suggestion that she should somehow be held

If you believe you’re fulfilling some kind of civic duty by blaming a corporation’s clusterfuck on some 21-year-old model who thought she was fulfilling hers, by all means, have at it.

You can bash away at her to your heart’s content. Again, I’m much more interested in punching up.

If you consider yourself below a tone-deaf 21-year-old model, punch away.

As does everyone else who participates. A 21-year-old model with aspirations of wokeness is not responsible for PepsiCo’s decisions. Targeting Kendal Friggin’ Jenner is not Fighting The Power©.

“And I will not allow this country to be told what to do by foreigners.”

a) She’s a working model. No other model would turn down a starring role in a Pepsi spot preceded by Cindy Crawford, Michael Jackson, Britney Spears etc. If this were any other 21-year-old model in the world, the outrage would be directed at PepsiCo, where it belongs. b) Things don’t exist in a vacuum. Context and

As there should have been. Pretty sure it wasn’t directed at the model though.

Let’s get started by hounding this other model on social media for the creative direction of this ad he chose to appear in. Also, everyone else in the Pepsi spot.

“Next up: Selective regurgitation of right-wing talking point.”

I agree, in future we should hold all 21-year-old models responsible for the ad campaigns they choose to appear in.

For me it’s Bad Boys 2 and the first half of The Island.
