Gun-soaked culture is part of it for sure. Another big part is nearly zero legal repercussions for police malpractice. The unions propagate a rotten police culture with little if any accountability and weed out the responsible cops. Its just all totally broken. We need to reimagine what policing is... and we need

Do police departments not have tasers anymore? What a bunch of jumpy cowards. He also had a squad car, shotgun and bullet-proof vest. Did this cop think he was in Fallujah? When I see that dumb thin blue line flag all I can think about is the thin line between life and death when an armed cop interacts with you.

Just because its rare doesn’t mean its valuable of course. Its cool in the same way that most 90's cars are imo...gawdy, unnecessary, over-wrought... you know, the good stuff.

Its a bad time, but this is still a really niche vehicle. You might pay a few G’s more than a regular year but in the end I don’t think it will make a big difference for this car. But def find out more about that shrapnel grenade sitting inside the engine that may or may not have its pin out.

I agree with you and they are a lot of bang for the buck. Something about C4-7 vettes though. I just could never own one. Corvettes are polarizing vehicles and I’m not sure why honestly. I’ve driven a few C5s and they are just fine, but something about the looks and the branding and the classic  “old white guy with a c

SoCal is jalop heaven too. More survivor cars still on the road down here than anywhere else (I’m guessing here, but it sure seems true) and an all-around vibrant car culture. CA is expensive but its not impossible, and with that cost you get one of the best climates in the world... when its not on fire.

Its expensive here, but you get what you pay for. The natural scenery and climate in CA just clobbers most other places, especially in the US. If I leave, it will be to cash out and go to Bolivia etc.

Whataboutism is no excuse to tolerate the GOP’s relentless economic, social, and environmental race to the bottom.

The problem is that there just aren’t many consequences for a police officer’s actions under almost any circumstance. Nothing will change until a cop can be charged with malpractice.

Mercedes, David, Bradley you all are killing it bravo! We need to talk about some of these one car owner/writers though... and not a single Miata, M3, Foxbody, or Datsun in the bunch???

If you called the jan 6th rioters “patriots” then you can also call yourself “far-right.”

Only rusted steel will blacken as far as I’ve seen. The rust/oxidation turns black. I use white vinegar to de-rust bolts and other car parts. How long are you talking? I’ve left it in there for a week or two but not longer and have only seen rust turn black. Not saying you are wrong, I just haven’t seen it.

You are right, this is a free-market pool freeing itself from its water prison.

Good review, I concur. I just spent about 4 hrs playing this (some co-op too). The game was more impressive than I expected. It really feels like the game I thought Anthem would be sans flying. Its got a good mix of mechanics and the tone is surprisingly unique. I like how dark and brooding it is with vibes akin to

More like “recharge while violating your warranty.”

These Toyotas, 4runners included seem to have rampant disc warping issues. My ‘11 4runner has warped its last 3 sets of rotors, front and back. The shudder gets scary downhill. I carefully install them t0 factory spec, clean everything, bed them properly. Something about the brake piston design seems to be the

Why? The tires on your car are also used. They are used by you if you bought them new, but what’s the difference? Used tires are used tires whether you had them new or not. As long as the dates aren’t old, the brand is known and they don’t have cracks or damage, they are no worse than the used tires on your vehicle

Love your work David! Be aware that someone that doesn’t know there is a set of drums UNDER the rotor can easily shear off the retaining cups that hold the springs and drum shoes in place. I did it on my 4runner even though I was aware of it and its a nightmare to get the keeper cup back on. The main lesson is, make

I dunno about this take here. Have you walked around in Vegas? Its a purposely confusing place to navigate on foot. The casino’s engineered the place to disorient you. You thought you could just cross that street? Well, now you are surrounded by slot machines and can’t tell which way you came from...
