My reco is to move the show to TomTom, and restart with those servers as the new, hungry, boundary-free cast. Tom, Tom, Ariana and DJ James Kennedy would still be around as continuity, but in “emeritus”/Greek chorus roles. The rest of these toolbags can have an occasional cameo but that’s it.

This shit looks boring AF, a Joanna Gaines job. And holy fuck I’m so tired of the grey and white farmhouse chic kitchens. Gimme something different, like this:

Yeah I wouldn’t call it tasteful so much as cookie cutter and absolutely devoid of any character. Also, if I had 1.9 million to buy a place I would rather something smaller but in a far more desirable location than a fucking suburb of a suburb. No one with taste blows 2 million for a suburban McMansion.

I was listening to Danny Pellegrino’s podcast with James Kennedy yesterday (ok, I’m just gonna go die after typing that sentence) and Danny asked about a rumor that the “OGs” are banding together to only film with each other and not the new crop that they’ve hired, presumably as a strategy to stay central to plots. I

This show must be nearing its end. I predict the upcoming season (if there is one) will be announced as the last. How can you sell a premise of hot wait staff trying to break into Hollywood when they’re buying 2 million dollar houses? It’s already been a stretch for years.

Jumped the shark.

I mean, it’s gorgeous but kinda lacking in personality. It looks like a good home designer set it up for a photoshoot (which is exactly what happened) and like every other beautiful home in a beautiful homes magazine.

It sounds as though it has changed, but when I was in college in the late 80s, you had to be independent from your parents for three years before their income didn’t count on the forms.

Even when they have good relations, how many people at this point are so in the clear they can drop 50k a year on a kid’s tuition? even 20k?

I think it would behoove us to remember our liberalism here, and realize that while the guy wrote the book, it was millions of adults who foisted it on their kids because it said what they wanted to hear. It takes a village to make a movement, and speaking as someone who grew up the burned-over rural red America in

Yeah, it’s a crime the pain he caused, but he was a 21 year old indoctrinated into a belief system, writing about something he probably had almost no experience with.

Yes, it would have been nice if he had realized this before he wrote his book, however the book was a reflection of part of that culture and someone would have written something similar.

I don’t get romancing the horrible and slow death of a confused young man, much less risking my own life and limbs to get to the spot and...what? Commune? Take some selfies?

If I were the Denali park rangers or even lived in Alaska I’d be demanding this deathtrap be hauled out of there. This woman is not the first person who’s died trying to reach it, and the state of Alaska has to shell out for all the search and rescue efforts.

You’re inferring quite a lot from a rather flippant sarcastic comment of the type that the Jezebel commentariat is known for.

Look, nobody else was available! They asked around. Everyone else was too busy being free to do the slavery.

I’m with you.  I had to google several words in this article.  Making me realize how 40 I really am.

I’m only 30 and I have no idea what an “e-girl” is. Nothing makes you feel old like having to look up something on Urban Dictionary

Thank you for your enthralling thread. You do know how to spin a yarn!!!

But in THAT situation, the soldier would have gone crazy when the hospital staff tried to get back up the steps and the horse would have to shoot him

OK, fine - this is the one I recall from scenic Springfield, Ohio:
