My knee jerk reaction is to cringe at a story of a man falsely accused of rape. But I will most definitely see this.

I’ll tell the truth: I’ve always wanted to have one professional photo done that was ruthlessly, shamelessly altered until I look like what I always thought I should, given some fantasy genetic redo, torturous workout routine, professional makeup, etc. Just to have it in some form, you know?

The fact that being an “influencer” is now considered by many as an actual profession speaks to how much has changed.

The most confusing part of this story is why the fuck anyone would care about two people on a plane having a polite conversation.

I have a cleaning woman who comes every other week. I feel very uncomfortable standing around while she cleans. I make sure to leave the house or be busy doing something.

I don’t know how rigorous the vetting is to be on one of these apps offering services, but I would venture to guess the parents are making assumptions they shouldn’t about it - assuming if the person is on the app they have been vetted (still, wouldn’t you want to interview them?).
