This is what we use when making eggs for ramen as the outside needs to be cooked, but the yolk is still runny. The ice/cold water bath helps to stop the cooking and makes peeling easy. I also have good luck using the pin hole to prevent cracking.

I second this. I use bare bones software, toss a few crazy ideas together, and stop when the giggling becomes too much. Save image, post online, trash the project. Otherwise I will get obsessed with details
