She is talented. At least talented enough to almost make 50 Shades of Grey work, which is no small feat. No one could make that dialogue sound natural, but she got as close as possible, and was much more interesting to watch than I expected.

Agreed. To take the dialogue in that movie and make it sound natural, I have to assume, requires substantial talent. I hope she is able to turn it into a launching pad. She has chops.

They wanted to act , they were pretty and that helped. As you get older Hollywood finds you less pretty and maybe that makes the blow harder when you’ve always heard how gorgeous you are and things just came easily. Agree. She made it barely watchable as opposed to completely unwatchable. I don’t get what everyone sees in Jamie Dornan. I watched both seasons of The Fall, and he was very creepy, but also very blah.

I agree that Fifty Shades of Grey was a bad movie. The director, Sam Taylor-Johnson, is a really great photographer though.

She was actually the only decent thing about Fifty Shades (well, that and the nekkidness)
