I did a week of half caf, a week of 25% caf, and then went to 100% decaf. It was pretty painless. Now of course I am back to caffeine every single day because I realized that life like that sucked. (I thought giving it up would help my anxiety...it did not.)

Last night I watched Under the Christmas Tree, because lesbians, and the job was...running a...Christmas company? Like it sells...Christmas gifts? Maybe? Through a paper catalog? And they are absolutey not going to pivot to online, because that wouldn’t be the spirit of Christmas, or something?

Lube can be a safety issue, 100%. And I don’t think most teenagers take into account how their parents feel about them having sex before they choose to have sex--it was certainly irrelevant to my decision.

It blows my mind that so many people were ok with saying on Twitter “yeah, I have zero ethics when it comes to my family.”

If my brother sexually harassed a bunch of women I would not help him in any way. That wouldn’t even occur to me and I honestly don’t understand why anyone would do it.

I mean...they might have?

Preventing the sexual abuse of children is pretty damn important, so, yeah, seems like a good book topic.

Here you go

I was relieved that there was a roast and that the suggestion was not serving cauliflower as the main dish, as a vegan who loves cauliflower but is so tired of the trend of serving a chunk of it as an entree.

I technically qualify because I occasionally have to be in health care settings for work, though it’s pretty infrequent and mostly I work from home. I could also maybe get up to a BMI of 25 if I ate a massive high-sodium meal and drank a lot of beers. But my main motivation for getting my booster on the day I hit 6

Sometimes experts disagree on things. I know that my vet is opposed to raw diets. (Not trying to start an argument on the merits of raw diets, I haven’t done enough research to have an opinion.)

Hard cheeses are generally very low in lactose, lactose intolerant humans can eat them too.

Most cheeses don’t contain much lactose, while milk does.

Growing up Thanksgiving was always a fun time to try new autumnal recipes (I grew up in a family that was very into cooking), so there’s no particular recipe that I always have to do, but always brussels sprouts in some kind of form! There’s a recipe for brussels with pistachio and lime from Bon Appetit I’ve done for

I’m 34 and have around $13k saved for retirement, which I guess is...something. I’m contributing what I can afford, but you know, I’ve also gotta pay rent and buy food and stuff.

Sometimes I feel like wow, now that I’m in my mid-30s I’m really getting my shit together, then an article like this really shatters that illusion.

Yes, I was going to comment, 1200 calories a day may be necessary to lose weight for some short, sedentary women.

I never use one for more than a week! But I haven’t ever had a stinky sponge without using Dawn. I had to replace my sponge literally every single time I washed dishes then.

Like the regular kind? I mean I haven’t had any issue with any other soap, pretty sure my sponges are fine!

Thank you for the validation!
