I don’t understand how this works without a solid plan to verify who’s actually vaccinated. I get that it’s supposed to motivate people to get vaccinated, but people who are choosing not to get vaccinated in the US right now aren’t going to follow CDC guidelines out of the goodness of their hearts.

For the record, when I got my first shot last week, they checked that I had my appointment confirmation on my phone prior to letting me into the building, and they were absolutely turning people away who didn’t have them.
