I am talking specifically about their stance that vegan diets are safe for children, which I do not think is a stance any of those corporations would benefit from.

You think that their partnerships with McDonald’s and Pepsico make them more likely to support vegan diets? It’s not like they have a vegan agenda or want more people to be vegan. In general I don’t trust any organization that claims that plant-based is the ultimate, healthiest diet that cures cancer or anything like…
I think I will trust the American Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics over random internet commenters on that one.
Thanks for posting a positive article about raising children vegan. Most of the kids in my life are vegan and they are doing great. And I think the American Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics knows a little bit more about nutrition than the amateur nutritionists in the comments.
All I’m saying is, human error is real. And before I set all my bills on auto pay I did miss a credit card payment once. I think I’m pretty responsible I just had a lot going on in my life and spaced it.
I’m like, a certified adult and I forgot to do something at work yesterday! ADHD doesn’t help. (But I have all my bills on autopay.)
Ah yes, adults never forget to do anything.
I live in Portland, Oregon and it's pretty rare here. I had never heard of it until I visited New York.
Well that was hostile! I live in Oregon, myself. BYOB is pretty rare here because you still have to have a liquor license to do it and they still have to serve it to you. I go to a lot of nice restaurants.
Some reasons I’ve stopped responding: I forgot to log back in, I felt emotionally exhausted by dating, I was dating someone non-exclusively and then slept with someone else and felt kind of weird about it because that person was not sleeping with anyone else so paused dating activities to think about why I felt weird…
There are a billion reasons why you might message someone back or like them and then decide you don’t want to meet up with them, in that moment or ever. I’ve done it. People have done it to me. Welcome to online dating!
You can also skip the line at Salt and Straw itself if you want to buy a pint. Then just get a spoon and go to town.
Also Fifty Licks and Cloud City!
Or an NWSL match...I believe the Thorns attract the biggest crowds in women’s sports in the world. They won the national championship last year. This year has been a bit more of a struggle but we’re doing better...
But she explained why she’s not messaging them back, did you read her letter? She doesn’t have a responsibility to dudes she’s never met. And this is filtering out the assholes, so, good.
Some lines are more reliable than others but 15 to 30 minutes late is not normal.
If your primary concern about the very large number of people experiencing homelessness in Portland is how it is inconvenient to you, get out of our city. And if you have been lucky enough to always have the resources to keep a roof over your head, be grateful.
Our locals experiencing homelessness are real live people going through some terrible things what is wrong with you
It has changed drastically. People are angry that they cannot afford to have a decent quality of life here anymore. Homelessness has increased a lot. So many locals are having a very hard time. Not saying that means we should berate tourists, but I’m not surprised that that’s aside effect.
JUST BECAUSE THERE IS A LINE DOESN’T MEAN IT’S WORTH IT. I mean, Salt and Straw is pretty good but so is Fifty Licks. Voodoo Donuts tastes like donuts from the grocery store. (Check out Blue Star or Doe Donuts instead). Por Que No is honestly just ok and unless you’re traveling from a place without much Mexican food,…
