Mine is the 10th of Nov. Separate enough to not get doube gifts, and I always considered my birthday as the start of the count down to Christmas. I have often been to light switch ons on my birthday, which I always loved.

Christmas lights are switched on in my local city on Saturday. John Lewis (one of our best loved department stores) launches its Christmas advert tomorrow. I am so excited!
