Are you insane? DDG-51 ships carry Harpoon, torpedoes, have a 5" gun (kinda useless), and have LAMPS III helos that carry torpedoes, Penguin, and Hellfire missiles. The SM-6 also has demonstrated ASuW capabilities.

They’re currently the only other navy that uses a CATOBAR system to launch aircraft from carriers, meaning we can operate from the Charles de Gaulle and vice versa. Everyone else uses the “ski-jump”, which considerably restricts fuel and weapon loads.
