It’s basically a cartoon that parodies everyting except itself and in doing so, encourages people to be more cynical and apathetic, as if we needed any encouragement.

Those issues do have plenty of crossover appeal. The deal-breaker for me is the naive belief that we can deregulate everything and trust corporations not to prey on people and completely destroy our planet, despite a mountain of evidence to the contrary.

I have a couple friends like this, too. They don’t know each other, but they are exactly alike. I’m glad there’s a socio-political term for this, because I could never quite figure them out before.
