Top 10 (In No Particular Order):

I just got to the Joanna Newsom album, and it's fucking fantastic. She really has great orchestration on her albums that fit with her weirdly high voice. Also, the lyrics get more interesting with each listen.

It's the best '80s synthpop album released this year, in the best way possible.

She's still in my house; I kidnapped her and turned her into one of my cats.

…So you're saying that you are a misogynist?

"'Biscuits' forever."

Kacey Musgraves is an amazing songwriter. "Follow Your Arrow" and
"Dime Store Cowboy" are just about perfectly written country songs.

My List (in no particular order):

He can be an amazing songwriter when he's actually being funny (like on "Bored in the USA" or "I'm Writing a Novel") or sincere (like on "Holy Shit"), though it all goes straight to shit once he gets obnoxiously condescending or misogynistic (like on "The Night Josh Tillman Came to Our Apt.").

No Julia Holter, Joanna Newsome, Acra, or Oneohtrix Point Never? That makes so much sense; the AV Club needed all the space it could get for '90s revivalist bands.

Speaking of Moral Orel…

I live in a dungeon of cats; if you don't pass me, you're not trying.

And if you can't watch all of them at once, remember to take…TOFUTTI BREAKS!!!

Oh you men…

The acting stops being stiff by the fourth episode. The 8th and 9th episodes are fantastic (I haven't seen the 10th yet) and Noel Wells really goes well with Aziz.

Taint Modelman

Yeah, we wouldn't have any videos if it weren't for AV Club writer Mike Vanderbilt.

Yeah what do you think Daly City's for?

If Charlie Kaufman can make Nick Cage look good, then Tarantino could definitely make a movie good enough to kick off the Cage revival of the late '10s.

I for one welcome our new cat-sampling overlords.
