I made it! I guess this Kinja thing isn’t so bad after al....I couldn’t finish, sorry.

What’s Mohd?
Whenever I played Mario Kart 8 for Wii U, I always picked Donut Plains 3 or Mount Wario because I knew two great shortcuts on each one. Always ended up in first. The Switch release was frustrating because those shortcuts were eliminated with the inclusion of these ridiculous invisible walls.
“My favorite tactic was to hang back in seventh or eighth place for the first lap until I got a lightning bolt, then I would race my way back up to the front of the pack during the second lap, and on the third lap I would shrink all my friends right as we were about to go over the jump.”
We realized we cannot rename people’s profiles so, unfortunately no. We’ll just assume every losing team is named NicklebackCreed69. I’m sorry, Ota, you making Keyboard Geniuses with that monicker is one of my favorite things to happen on Gameological.
With Kinja upon us are you guys still doing a punishment game for whoever comes in last place each week?
One other thing about draft night: Mexi was one of the people that set up to auto-draft, since he couldn’t make it to the first half. He showed up about 7 rounds in and did not have a single player on his team. Partly because of the ridiculous prices and partly because we’re dicks. He wound up leaving $71 on the…
Because I was the bots ALL ALONG!
HOW DID YOU EVER FIGURE OUT IT WAS SMILNER THAT TRIED TO OUTBID A BOT?!?!?!
Excellent, I look forward to watching the utter madness unfold from a safe distance.
You would think Smilner at least would know better after I ran up his bid on Aaron Rodgers in the first year, but booze is a cruel mistress
On Sunday, the Gameological Fantasy Football League Draft was conducted to the enjoyment of all. We promised ourselves at draft time that we wouldn’t repeat last year’s debacle and draft people for insane prices, but we were fooling ourselves. In fact, it was much, much worse.
I had thought I preferred Maka Wuhu to Mt. Wario, which I’m generally ambivalent on (I like the three-legged tracks, but MW is a bit chaotic for my taste), but I foudupon returning to Maka Wuhu that it was far more simplistic than I’d remembered, and yes, Mt. Wario is superior.
I get the feeling we could talk Mario Kart tracks every week and never really run out of things to discuss, the courses are so tightly designed, packed full of secrets, and of course replayable. Even Grumble Volcano, which generally gives me fits, has its own evil, evil charm.
Thanks! It happens that this particular mega-mission did have the “must survive” flag for a certain NPC, and of course I got him killed because my awesome, high-risk/high-reward melee kill didn’t account for the fact that this kind of enemy explodes for huge damage when they die (hey, it was my first time running into…
This weekend I’m replaying Saints Row IV, because I was in the mood for something gleefully silly. My first attempt to scratch that itch was Crash Bandicoot 2, via the remastered trilogy, but gave up upon realizing that it was more or less the same setup as the first game, which I struggled through with little…
Aha, looks like the screen name wasn’t taken, just the username. All is well.
I’ll probably end up doing that, yeah. I also have the feeling that Sonic Mania will end up doing fine on its own, while Samus will end up needing a bit more love from us fans. If only because we haven’t seen her for seven years and might end up not seeing her again for a long, long time.
Funny enough, I had planned to play Bloodborne and Icewind Dale: EE last weekend and wound up going into Legend of Grimrock II after finding a guide on party building. Always jumping around and restarting, that’s the thing I do.
Jesus - I really hope I just don’t know how to use Kinja, and not that it’s as bad as it seems.
